[TRNSYS-users] Type 107: Absorption chiller data file: How do I calculate the fraction of capacity?

Leon,
I believe that fraction of capacity is the currently available
capacity (due to non-design inlet temperatures, flow rates, ambient
conditions, etc.) divided by the machine's rated capacity (at design
conditions) and that the fraction of design load is the current load on
the machine divided by its rated load.

The idea in all this is that the performance is based on two things:
1. the capacity and required energy input are a function of the inlet
conditions as compared to design input conditions. 2. the required
energy input (but NOT the capacity) depends on how much of the design
load the machine currently has to meet.
Best,
  David
