Dear TRNSYS users,

I have imported a 3d building project which i developed with Google Sketchup 8 ,and i would like to show .prn files as external files after my simulation.
Which type should i use in order to get this kind of type as an external file ?

Best regards,
Kostas A. Tsogkas

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Type 1716: ROTARY DESICANT DEHUMIDIFIER

Hello !!!
I´m trying to use the type 1716: ROTARY DESICANT DEHUMIDIFIER, but I´m having always the same problem, when I run the simulation the outputs 8 and 12 (Regeneration air relative humidity, and Condensate flow rate) are "0.00". And the outputs 2 and 3 (Process air outlet humidity ratio, and Process air outlet relative humidity) are inconsistent.
Exist any problem running this type?
Thanks !!!

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Problem with Type 501

Dear Users,

I must modelize a geothermique pump and I must study the temperature rise at 300m depth.

I connect type 501 with a heat exchanger and I connect this heat exchanger with my heat pump.

The problem is that there are not inputs in type 501 to connect with Hot/Cold side temperature of heat exchanger.

And so I don't know how obtain the rise of temperature in the ground (at 300m depth).

Best regards

Samir -
Type 501 is a ground temperature profile model and not a ground heat exchanger model. You will need to switch to an actual ground heat exchanger model.
In the future please only post your question once to the message board. There is no need to repeat the same question over and over.

Tim

Dear users I cannot find the opensource version of Type56 in my Trnsys 17 package. Is it still accessible somewhere? Thanks a lot--Antoine Gautier

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Shading groups

Hi!!! i have a little problem with my imported 3d model from trnsys 3d
plug-in for sketchup.

I have posted a picture that show my 3d model in sketchup; so, as you
can see, all of the triangular surfaces (into red circle), are made in
perforated corten steel, and i need to give a shading coefficient to
their, otherwise the program will do the simulations considering the
shading surfaces opaque; but actually they are not matt.

if someone have any ideas about how I can do.....
