[TRNSYS-users] Type 107: Absorption chiller data file: How do I calculate the fraction of design energy input?

Dear TRNSYS users,

I've been trying to simulate the performance of a absorption chiller with the Type 107. When I checked the results, I noticed that my hot water energy was below the chilled water energy which is not possible. So I must have calculated the fraction of energy input wrong. I used the following equation:

f_designenergyinput=hot water energy/ hot water energy_rated

How come that in the exampe file the fraction doen't depend on the inlet hot water temperature?

It would mean a huge help for me if anyone could solve this problem. Thanks.

Best regards,

Leon
