[TRNSYS-users] time considered in trnsys

TRNSYS uses standard time - in other words it does not shift time
due to daylight savings during the year. It does not use solar time. The
time shown in TRNSYS during a simulation or in the results file
represents the time at the end of the current timestep. For example, if
you are using a one hour timestep and TRNSYS says the time is 8, then
that represents the hour from 7 am to 8 am. However when you specify
forcing functions and other schedules you use the real schedule. For a
forcing function (Type 14), giving the example you provided, the
parameters would be:
<In my schedules if I give a coefficient of 0.5
from 7 to 8 and 0.6 from 8 to 9 (standard time)How does trnsys read it ?
Should I write 0.5 at 6 or at 7, 0.6 at 7 or at 8 (solar time) ?>
0,0

7,0
7,0.5
8,0.5
8,0.6
9,0.6
9,0
24,0
This would give you a value
of 0.5 from 7 am to 8 am, a value of 0.6 from 8 am to 9 am and 0 at all
other times. Remember to close out the forcing function with the last
point being used to reset the cycle (a 24 hour repeating function needs
to have the last point listed at hour 24). You need to list every point
in the function as if you were drawing the function on a piece of paper.
The plug-in for Type 14 shows you the pattern you have entered if you'd
like to check your function. Refer to the documentation for Type 14 for
more examples.

I have a quesiton about the time considered by trnsys coz I'm getting
lost.

hour, for example in France it would consider 7 when it is 8 on my watch
(+1h in winter and +2h in summer). Is that right?
