[TRNSYS-users] Difference between simple and detailed mode for diffuse solar radiation distribution in Trnsys17

Dear Marion,

I may switch to the version 17.1 in the future, but I am for the moment still using Trnsys version 17. So my objective is to understand precisely how the diffuse solar radiation is distributed under the standard mode. Could you thus help me to make this clear?

the calculation method of the standard model for diffuse radiation distribution has  been improved in the latest release:

In Version 17.1, the primary diffuse radiation distribution of the standard mode is improved such that diffuse radiation entering a zone through an external window is distributed to all other surfaces except the window itself for the primary distribution. 

Are you using Trnsys version 17.1?
