Dear Laurent,

I guess we fixed this bug for the upcoming Release of TRNSYS 17.1.

If you send your project and your TRNSYS license number to
hotline at transsolar.com we can test it and help you how to solve it.

Best,

Marion

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] Internal gain routine using view factors

Dear TRNSYS-users,

In TRNSYS, I try to distribute the internal gains of a heat source
between the different walls of a zone as a function of the view factors
(i.e. not using the standard approach based on area-weighted average).
TRNSYS 17 allows to do that by defining the “geo position” of the
internal gain source: the view factor routine of TRNSYS should compute
subsequently the view factors from this point location. Even though the
view factors are computed properly by TRNSYS, the TRNSYS execution
crashes with the following message : “Subscript #1 of the array ATOFGPOS
has value 3 which is greater than the upper bound of 2”. Maybe, there is
other TNRSYS users who have experience with the “detailed” definition of
the gains? With the same conclusions?

In advance, thank you,

Best regards,

Laurent Georges
