Esteban,
I have had some success in contacting manufacturer's representatives
and asking them to generate a few additional performance points. These
days more and more manufacturers rely on software to generate
performance estimates rather than on catalogs so it is hard to find a
complete map in *.pdf form!
If that tactic does not work then you may be able to use the example
data file for your off-design points. Some HVAC equipment normalizes
very well; in other words if you look at the performance of an air
cooled chiller at a given operating point divided by the performance at
the rated point, it looks quite the same as a lot of other air cooled
chillers and even like other sizes of air cooled chiller. Other HVAc
equipment does not normalize so well (absorption chillers are a good
example). I have never looked directly at cooling coils so I am afraid
that I can't offer any very specific advice there.
Kind regards,
David
