[TRNSYS-users] GenOpt error

Dear TRNSYS users,
I am trying to use GenOpt with TRNSYS 16.1 in order to optimize a project.
I am able to execute the tpf file but not the optimization with GenOpt.
After following all the steps of the first window appeared when 
initializing the GenOpt (select input file, select and specify 
variables, use a equation to minimize and choose the optimization 
method, browsing the TRNSYS. ini file) the following message appears 
without running the project.
Initialize.

I have checked the file "GenoptInputFile.lst" for problems and there 
appears the following error:

*** Fatal Error at time   :         5.993056
     Generated by Unit     :    17
     Generated by Type     :     9
     Message               : Unable to correctly read from the supplied 
data file. Please check the file and re-run the simulation. The most 
likely cause of this problem is an empty or non-existent file.


Has anyone faced the same problem before?
