Hannes,
Type 56 checks the energy balance every iteration step and gives an
error if the error isn’t lower than 0.002%.
Since it stops at the beginning of the simulation maybe your inside
surfaces temperatures are almost the same and
thus the total energy exchanged is very low and from a very low value …
.
Unforunately, you can’t really the initial inside surface temperature of
each surface.
However, you can try to set the initial value of the temperature for
boundary walls to value different than 20 °C.
If you still have trouble we need to have a deeper look into your
project.
However, please don’t send the project to user list but to
hotline at transsolar.com.
You need to include your TRNSYS licenses number and your university /
company.

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] Internal error of detailed longwave
radiationexchange of zone 1 . Energy balance error of 0.002 % at time
5.00
Hi everbody!
I'm currently modeling a church in the Sketchup plugin to evaluate the
stratification and the comfort at different locations in the building.
I've succeeded to import the idf-file into trnbuild without errors and
when I turn on the detailed radiation mode in trnbuild I have no
problems to generate the view factors matrix( after a long proces of
trial and error).
The problem is, when I try to simulate the building in the Simulation
Studio I get the following error:
"Internal error of detailed longwave radiationexchange of zone 1 .
Energy balance error of 0.002 % at time 5.00"
I have no idea where the error might be coming from...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
