Hello!
I'm modelling a 52-module PVT cluster for co-generation of hotwater/electricity and the configuration of the modules are in a 13x4 arrangement (13 parallel lines with 4 collectors each in series). Single tank.
Type 560 is used for all 52 modules while single tank is represented by type 534.
However, tank temperatures were found to be at least 5 deg lower than expected.
Also, significant flowrate variations did not change collector outlet temperatures much.
This seems to suggest that the 560 models do not factor in the effect of series connections, and to test this i set up a basic system consisting of 2 560s in series, pump(w/ differential control) and single type534.
Outlet temps frm both 560s were taken and they were the same.
Some qns:
1. Did i miss out anything when dealing with the abovementioned models?
2. Or is this a limitation of the 560 models?
3. If this is a limitation, are there any other PVT models available that can fulfil my requirements?
Help is greatly appreciated!
