Greg,
The TRNSYS developers have migrated to the Intel Visual Fortran compiler
and I think most users have headed that direction as well.
Unfortunately, that is a costly option. I am aware of some users who
have had success with the G95 fortran compiler (which is free). There is
a tutorial on how to get it to work available at:
