Andreas,
I was able to run the  Chennai *.epw file with Type15. I looked at the *.epw files in the text file comparison tool. Bangalore appears to have some different delimiter comparing its *.epw file to another standard *.epw and is most likely why it is not working. Nevertheless, there is a Bagalore TMY2 that comes with the TRNSYS extended weather package that you received with your TRNSYS software package. Likewise with Jodhpur as well.

Hello,

 

for my project I need weather data of Bangalore, Chennai and Jodhpur in India.

At http://apps1.eere.energy.gov/buildings/energyplus/cfm/weather_data3.cfm/region=2_asia_wmo_region_2/country=IND/cname=India

I have found the weather data files in an energyplus weather format.

I used these files with the Type 15-3 and simulated. Then the Message  “Unable to correctly read from the supplied data file - please! check the file and re-run the simulation” occurs. After that I have tried to simulate with an other epw file and it worked fine.

Can anybody help me please to solve with this problem?
