[TRNSYS-users] Wind Speed and Direction

Dear all,



1) I have a question about wind condition for Type 56. If I coupled
TRNFlow, does the setting of wind speed and direction in Type 56 or Type 15
connected to Type 56 still influence the zone’s parameters such as indoor
temp., CO2 concentration and Qheat etc.?
If it doesn’t influence, how to define them in TRNFlow? Because I set the
wind speed as 0 m/s and 100 m/s separately, the difference of escaping hot
air mass from the zone with open windows for 0 m/s and 100 m/s only 4%. Is
it RIGHT?


Please relative experts pass me some experience and introduction!





2) I found in TRNFlow we can only set the wind velocity exponent of the
building:

When we set a wind velocity exponent a , TRNFlow itself can calculate
the wind speed V based on equation V = Vr (Z/Zr)^a where Vr is the
known wind speed at a reference height Zr, Z is the height of the
building or room.

Which relative experts can tell me how to know the VALUE of Zr and Vr?



Please relative experts pass me some experience and introduction!
