[TRNSYS-users] coupling flow vs. ventilation

Hi!

Does anyone has experience, some knowledge or idea about the issue:

1) My hall (sketch enclosed) consist 2 zones (Hall 1 and Hall 2)
divided by VirtualSurface (slim line).

2) Hall 2 has common wall and door (dotted line) with four other zones
A-D.

3) Hall 1 has common wall and door with zone: Vestibule and WC (and
only wall with zone C). Between Hall 1 and zone Room (the biggest zone in
house) is VirtualSurface(slim line).

4) Air flow between zones is calculated in Contam and connected by Type
97 (arrows show calculated direction of air flows).

5) Air flow by walls with door is defined as coupling air flow.

The think is: How should be set air flow between Hall 1/Hall 2 and Hall
1/Room? I wonder:

a) There shouldn't be any VirtualSurface, Hall1+Hall2+Room should be
one zone.

b) Whole Hall should be one zone, but VirtualSurface Hall/Room is ok.

c) Zones are ok., the thing is only to set air flow.

If we you think that b) or c) is good:

which way air flow should be modeled?

d) The best way is to put small wall between zones and set coupling air
flow?

e) Air flow should be set by Ventilation Manager using AirFlow from
Contam-Type97 and Temperature of Air from adjacent zone form which air
flows. Then in Simulation Studio will be loop which connects Building
Outputs (temperature of zones) with Building Inputs (temperature of air
flows).

Maybe you have another idea?!

I will be grateful for any tips!

Regards,
