[TRNSYS-users] Error in reading type 51 external performance File

Walif,
   I think it is the "Line X>" text that is causing the problem. You 
should have a file with only numbers in it. If you are using Trnsys17, 
there is an example file in:

..\Trnsys17\Examples\DataFiles\Type51-CoolingTower.dat

Alternatively, you can look in the Type51 section of the 
04-MathematicalReference manual (for both Trnsys16 and Trnsys17) to see 
an example data file.
