[TRNSYS-users] external dll

Nomikos,
I am not familiar with the Force FORTRAN compiler. From what I read
online, it is a development environment for the GNU Fortran project. In
short, if the compiler is able to create a 32-bit dynamic link library
then it "should" be able to generate a DLL usable by TRNSYS. I put the
should in quotes because accomplishing this is often a good bit more
difficult than it sounds. I would first check with the Force forum and
see if their IDE can create a DLL. If so, you might get some useful
information from the following tutorial:

http://sel.me.wisc.edu/trnsys/downloads/tutorials_and_examples/tutex17.htm

(click on the "Using G95 to create TRNSYS TYPES (English)" link)

If Force is not able to create the DLL, you could use the G95 compiler
(which is also free).
Best,
  David
