[TRNSYS-users] problem with TYPE 20

dear all;
I want to model an air source heat pump water heater . Is it possible to  
use type 20 and deactivate water side ? Besides I had some problems with type 
20  . I do not know how to connect this component to other components? 
Could you  please elaborate on this component . I do not understand manual  
description ?
