[TRNSYS-users] Bug found when using variable values as strings in TRNSYS 16.1

Hi Joechen,

I've done some checks in my projects: 
> Studio(at least TRNSYS17Studio) is case sensitive when in insert variable's name as String and that was the point for one of my references (shame on me!) but not using it in running phase ...  : Use of undefined variable's name may be reported as syntax error when writing the deck or when running the file ?
> Any way variables defined in equations/constants (taking care of case sensitive use) in Control Cards are still not linked in the deck, might be useful yet for very widespread variables in the project. Use of Equations 'type' instead is possible but confusing with more 'local' actions.

What is the TRNSYS's developers point of view?

Hey David,

I do not see that behaviour, the variable is inserted as initial AND input value.
But I already have TRNSYS 17.00.0019 with Simulation Studio 5.0.0.0. 
(but found nothing in the release notes...)
