[TRNSYS-users] Humidity transfer through walls

Damien,
  You are correct that moisture transfer through walls is not accounted 
for. If you implement TRNFlow in your Type56 model (or if you couple 
Type56 with CONTAM/Type97) then you will see some of the effect of 
moisture transport as air infiltrates into the space through openings 
and by air leakage through the building materials. I have not seen any 
studies that address the issue of the relative magnitude of moisture 
transport through materials as compared to being a biproduct of 
infiltration.
