[TRNSYS-users] Ventilation manager in Trnbuild

Dear Salim,

This is a very good question, and I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge. The building simulation of Type56 only cares about is the air that is going into that zone or airnode (Air from infiltration, coupled air from adjacent zones, and ventilation air) to do its calculations. To effectively analyze the air leaving or exhausted from the zone, and therefore more air infiltrating and entering the zone, you need to do a bulk air flow analysis with your building simulation with a program such as TRNFlow, COMIS, or Contam.

Otherwise, if your only concerned about getting mass balance errors on your pump or fan for your air/fluid loop, simply make a Studio connection for the flowrate that bypasses Type56.

Best regards,
