[TRNSYS-users] Solar azimuth angle in the south hemisphere

Héloïse,
We recommend against using Type109 and instead using Type15. Type15
was freely available (as a different Type number) for Trnsys16 as well.
However, I believe that all of the TRNSYS solar radiation processing
components use the same sign convention:

facing toward the equator (so facing south in the northern hemisphere or
facing north in the southern hemisphere) = 0
facing away from the equator (so facing north in the northern hemisphere
or facing south in the southern hemisphere) = +/- 180
facing east = -90
facing west = 90.

so your calculation is correct.
Kind regards,
  David
