[TRNSYS-users] Factor for air flow of TEST DATA in TRNFLOW and QHEAT and Qheat loss

Dear all,

I have some questions about Factor for air flow of TEST DATA in TRNFLOW and
QHEAT and Qheat loss:

1) I want to find the detailed information about "Factor for air flow" in
Manual, because I checked the TRNFLOW Manual, but there is no explanations
about Air Flow Factor not only in Page 20: Test Data, but also in Page 36:
chap.3.2.6 Test Data, besides that, the Example Rest_com.tpf also has no
Test Data as air link. So Please tell me where is the exact explanation in
manual.

2) QHEAT and Qheat loss question: I verified the MASSLESS condition of
BOX(1*1*1 m^3) by TRNSYS i.e. when walls are Massless, I used
one-dimensional and steady-state conduction heat transfer equation to verify
Qheat loss through all the walls and roof and floor by hand which is the
same as QHEAT by TRNSYS, and QHEAT curve keeps constant all the time, but
under the same condition( there is no internal gains and no infiltration and
ventilation in the test room, I defined all the wall and floor boundary
temperature of the test room are 10°C, initial indoor air temperatures of
the test room are 20°C, other wall's initial boundary temperature is 10°C
etc. simplified condtions in order to verify) when walls have Mass Effect,
the result of Qheat loss I used one-dimensional and steady-state conduction
heat transfer equations by hand is 24000 kJ/day, but QHEAT value by TRNSYS
is 6600 kJ/day. And QHEAT curve doesn't keep constant all the time, until up
to about 240th hour, QHEAT begins to keep the constant(please see the
ATTACHED). PLEASE explain some possible reasons(why QHEAT curve cann't keep
constant of 2nd condition but indoor and outdoor (even the inside and
outside wall surface also ) indeed keep constant 20°C and 10°C all the time?
why the two results differ so much? etc. ).

MAny thanks!

br.

wang
