[TRNSYS-users] Signal for solar-system by day

Hi Florian,

You need to implement a control function that reads the total radiation on your designated surface from your weather processor.
Use this as an input for a equation, then use the GT (greater than) statement : GT(radiation,0)*1 this will return 1 in case the radiatiation is bigger than zero.
Use this signal then as an input for your pumps control function.

Cheers,
Philip

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Signal for solar-system by day

dear TRNSYS-users,

I simulate the interaction between a heat pump and a solar system. So far everything works. But the solar system is at night when the solar earnings is not large enough (is clear).
How can I tell the solar system, only to go when solar radiation on the collector is large enough. At present, both devices do simultaneously with the same signal. the heat pump can indeed run at night (regardless of the time). But the solar system should run only if output-temperature is over 30 ° C.

can anyone help me, any ideas?

best regards
