Thank you Matt and Kent,
Kent, that is exactly the point, I have a general model for a collector an would like to adapt it to an unglazed collector the main problem is that I don´t have the values of the possible coeficients and unfortunately no test data... I want to simulated a general solar system and later try to fit it to real little by little.
Now I´m probing with very different values for the different terms of the energy gains and loses of the collector. I am not experienced so i´m sure that I could refine my search or maybe work "around" real data. That would save me a lot of time, at least for this preliminary case.
I´ll keep on trying. Thanks again.
Fernando

Type553 for Unglazed Collector (No Covers). This is in the TESS Solar Library. I know that FAFCO simulates their panels with this Type.
You will need to have test data of your particular panel in question and enter the values into Parameters and Inputs.

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Gummy/Plastic collector
Hello Trnsys user,
I´m trying to simulate with TRNSYS a Solar installation with collectors without glass cover , those ones that are normally used with swimming pools and are made of gummy or plastic. The behaviour is completely different from the usual flat plate collector, (for example should be strongly depending on wind conditions) and I am not finding many good data in Internet to simulate it properly. Have anyone simulated this kind of collectors?
Any comment would be sincerely appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
