[TRNSYS-users] Question about TRNSYS-SBM and Type 557 Vertical U-tube Ground Heat Exchanger

Hello, Cao.

I have no information what the SBM is based on?  I guess it is developed from
Eskilson's model or the finite line source model.  If so, I think the
simulation time should not be too long (of course it will be much longer than
the DST model).  I am currently using a three-dimensional numerical model
developed by myself and it occasionally takes days of time to perform a
ten-year simulation.  Hence, I think the SBM model should at most need hours of
time.  Concerning the conversion of the model to suit TRNSYS 17, it should not
be too complicated if you are familiar with Fortran.
