<Dear TRNSYS users, there are three numerical integration algorithm to
solve differential equations: -Modified-Euler method-Non-self-starting
Heun’s method-Fourth-order Adams method I know the algorithms but I
don’t have any experience in using these methods in TRNSYS anddon’t
know which algorithm should be used e.g. for SDHW systems. Can anybody
give me an advice in which case I should use the different methods? If
possible, please tell me a page in the TRNSYS 17 manuals to quote, because
I needa reference in my bachelor thesis.>

If you're using the standard models in TRNSYS, or even the TESS Solar
Components, the differential equations method doesn't matter as we're not
solving the differential equations numerically - we're solving them
analytically. Very few models in TRNSYS require the solution of numerical
Diff eq's.
