Hi,
If the function is grayed out, it usually means that there are no possible connections between the two components, because one (or both) do not have inputs/outputs.
You can doubl-click on the link to still open the window to see the available variables, or use the Inputs/Output tabs of the respective components.

Hello, Trnsys users.
When I try to check the link between different components by right-clicking the
component and using the "Edit connections with..." tab, I occasionally find
that the tab is colored grey and cannot be activated. Does anyone has similar
experience, and if so how the problem can be rectified? Thank you!
