[TRNSYS-users] Fatal Error

Hello Wang,

You can choose for heat transfer coefficient to be constant or to be calculated each time step. The calculating heat transfer cooefficient can only be used for interior surfaces. The heat transfer coefficient you can change in the wall-type manager.

If you moved the .bui file, you should change the path in the tpf.file.

Kind regards,

Mariëlle Nuchelmans-van Wanum

Dear all,

Please tell me how to do with the following error in detail, thanks!

*** Fatal Error at time : 0.000000
    Generated by Unit : 4
    Generated by Type : 56
Message : Error in automatic heat transfer calculation for surface 3 or its adjacent surface!: Automatic heat transfer calculation is only allowed on surfaces within a zone. Please check building input file (.bui)!

PLUS: I changed and saved one .bui(b17) file in one folder, then all the other .tpf files which all used this .bui file can not run. I'm extremely anxious! Please tell me how to recover the former .bui file or in future what are better methods solving this problem?

thanks again!

br.

Subject: Re: [TRNSYS-users] weather data
Dear Rahma!

You can use TYPE54 (Physical Phenomena - Weather generator).
This Type generates hourly weather data from monthly values through some mathematical approach.

With kind regards

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] weather data
Dear Usres TRNSYS

I want to study space to the eastern region and there is not a weather file from the city of Oujda. I want to buy the average monthly climate data because the hourly values is very expensive. is what I use type 109-User to call the weather file and convert time values? if not what type to use this approach?

I'd be very grateful for your response.

with my respects
