[TRNSYS-users] convection approach in TRNSYS 17

Leen,
My understanding is that the big change came between v15 and v16. In
v15, you had Type80 to calculate the internal convection coefficient and
you could couple Type56's surface temperature output to Type80's inputs,
then connect Type80's outputs back to a userdefined Type56 input for the
convection coefficient.

With the release of v16 (and still in v17) the correlation was built
into Type56 directly so a user has only to select "internal calculation"
instead of the usual "constant," "schedule," or "input" for the inside
convection coefficient. The correlation parameters can be adjusted using
the "properties" button in the TRNBuild project window.
Best,
  David
