[TRNSYS-users] initial iterations for the first hour on simulation ?

Ayman,
All TRNSYS types have initial values. The initial values are set by
the user and as the driving forces of the system begin to change
(ambient temperature, solar radiation, occupancy, etc) start to change
then TRNSYS beings to iterate. In high-mass models (such as buildings
and thermal storage tanks) the initial values have an important impact
on their behavior as the simulation starts going. Iterating more in the
first hour isn't going to change anything; the models still start out
with those initial values and none of the driving forces have changed
yet. If you are concerned about the impact of initial values then the
best approach may be to run your simulation for two simulation years and
only take the results from the second year.
Best,
  David
