[TRNSYS-users] problem type 655 (chilled water flow rate)

Dears all,

 

I'm using the type 655 "chilled water flow rate" from TESS library. First, I noticed an inversion between CAPACITY ratio and COP ratio in the external file (containing the chiller performance data). 

Secondly, here my problem; this type do not consider the ambient temperature in the chiller capacity and COP calculations. In fact, this model always choose CAP and COP ratio values corresponding to the highest ambient temperature for a chilled water temperature. So, have you got an idea about how can I figure out this issue?

Dear Luis Carlos Vela,

That is fixed for TESS Libraries version 17.01 (you may see the version of the TESS Libraries that you have by viewing the names of their external DLL's in the ".\UserLib\ReleaseDLLs" directory or by looking at the 'Readme.html' file in the ".\Tess Models" directory). Thus, please make sure that you are using that version.

when I choose the type chiller 655 and I will enter the input data see the following problem.
Water chiller units are degrees Celsius flexible rate, so my question is what units should I enter in this box as Celsius tablets are not units! of flow.
