The tank loss coefficient dictates the heat loss from the tank.  The losses from the tank are simply:Tank Loss Coefficient * Tank Surface Area * (Tank temperature - Environment temperature)Refer to the mathematical description manual for questions like this as the manual gives the governing equations for the models and helps answer questions like this.
