David,
   It might be simpler just to add your Type to the TRNDll. The only 
reason that we provide the mytype project is so that you don't have to 
recompile the TRNDll. If you have to recompile the TRNDll anyway for 
some other purpose then its far simpler to keep all of your Types (the 
standard ones and whatever ones you have written) in the TRNDll project; 
it makes stepping through the code one line at a time while debugging 
MUCH easier.
