[TRNSYS-users] get the simulation data from TRNSYS

Dear Wang,

for getting simulation data in text format you have to use one of the type25 (Printer). There are different settings possible (look at the manuals). You have to connect the outputs you want for your analysis to the printer and than you get a text file on your hard disk where you can find the values.

How to get the simulation data from TRNSYS? How to export them from simulation software into .txt format etc. ? I want to use these simulation data and values.

  Make sure that you have a recent Trnsys17 release (the most recent, I believe is 17.00.0019). I seem to recall that one of the earlier releases had a bug in the InterpolateData routine (which is called by Type42). If you do have the most recent version, please send your input file along and I will have a look.

In TRNSYS 17 the output for the dependent variable is always "6", no matter what values the independent variables have. The performance data file and the deck file are attached. In TRNSYS 16 the same performance data file works and the output of the dep. variable is as expected.

Has anyone come across this before? Thanks in advance for help!
