Justine,
The answer to your question depends a little on the nature of your
vantilated facade. If you have a fairly deep facade (>1m perhaps) then I
would model the facade space as another thermal zone in your Type56
building. If your facade is very narrow then you can use Type 36 coupled
with Type56. The trick with making your facade a zone in the building is
to assess the air flow through the facade. Ideally, you would couple the
thermal model with one of the building air-flow models that are
available (COMIS, TRNFlow, or CONTAM (Type97).
