Hello Mr. Gabas!
Your command line-question unfortunately I can't to You but:
- You can start Your TRNSYS-Simulation with always one parameter varied over
the TRNEDIT software, which is a part of the TRNSYS-package. Here You can
program which variable should vary through which values. TRNEDIT will run
the simulation for all defined values and then go to the next variable. I
believe it is not possible to vary more than one parameter in one
simulation-run.
-For optimisation-tasks there is the TRNopt Plug-in (Based on the
GenOpt-Software)
I hope I could help You!
With Kind regards,
Matthias Kersken

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] execution question
Hello,
I am a Phd student at Lleida University in Catalonia in Spain. Now I am
working on an optimization problem about building acclimatization and I am
searching a program that allows me to do that. The question that I want to
make is if it is possible to execute your program from a command line with
the variables as arguments. In particular, I would like to be able to
incorporate your system as a module of an optimization environment. This
environment would execute several times your program through a system
call, with different input parameters and process the results to configure
the
next iteration. I have not yet figured out how to perform that call.
Also, I would like to know if it is possible to execute your program on a
Linux system.
Thanks so much for your time,
Joel Gabas
