Hi everyone,
just if someone encounters the same problem. I don't know why, but trnsys (maybe when some special types are used) in my case acts like this.
You can use TRNEDIT to avoid this problem. Here you can call the input file of your project and simulate multiple time periods. If your desired period is not included, go to trnsys/exe and edit the file length.dat. Here you can add your desired time period.

Hi Leen,
did not work. :-(
But I analysed the Problem! The simulation could only run for fixed time periods! These are one day, one week, two weeks, one month, two month, one year!
Means one day, 7 days, 14 days, 28 days, 56 days, 365 days. The 1344 hours are the 56 days. When I put two days, 8 days, i.e., the simulation uses the next smaller time period, one day or 7 days, i.e.
Is it possible, that my model causes this? Or is this a problem of trnsys?
Marius

Hi Marius,
try to put everything in hours, express your minutes as hours as well> SO start at 1 (not at 0) and stop at e.g. 4000 with steps of 0.05 h (around 5 minutes)

Hello Leen,
thanks for your answer. I selected 1 min as timestep, but with different timesteps i.e. 10 min or 0,1 min, the results are the same.
For start and stop I tried with hours, i.e. 1 to 2000 and days, i.e. 1 to 30 but the results stay the same.

Marius,
can you give more details on the simulation timestep and what you selected for that in the control cards? As well as for start and stop (string, seconds, hours,...)

Hello everyone,
I have a problem with the simulation time in trnsys. When I want to simulate for half a year or so, the simulation only runs for 1368 hours. When I want simulate for 1368 hours it runs for 1344 hours. A similar error has already appeared in the archives, but complete answer was given:

Maybe someone can help.
Thanks a lot,
Marius
