<I would like to use an absorption chiller with a ground heat exchanger on
trnsys. Is it possible to use it for cooling and heating or only for
cooling?>

Absorption chillers have an outlet hot water stream, an outlet chilled
water stream and an outlet firing water stream (if it's hot-water fired).
It's up to you to decide what you want to do with those three streams -
you can use the streams to heat air, to cool air, you can send send one to
a ground heat exchanger, send some to a cooling tower, send one to a
radiant floor etc. You can do whatever you'd like with the streams -
that's the power of TRNSYS (and the curse...LOL), you have total
flexibility.
