[TRNSYS-users] error 1000

Nicola,
   Are you able to run any of the examples at all? If you can't run any 
examples then I think error 1000 is generated if TRNSYS can't open and 
write to the list file. If you are running either Vista or Windows 7 as 
your operating system, we highly recommend that you NOT install TRNSYS 
in the \Program Files\ directory. Vista and Windows7 have a lot of 
restrictions on writing files in the \Program Files whether or not the 
current user has administrator rights.
