Hi all

 

Yes, I recently got  Windows 7 - 64 bits and TRNSYS 16 works perfectly on
it.

We don't have any direct experience here yet but the word is that 64-bit
operating systems do quite a good job of emulating 32-bit software as long
as the software isn't compiled with really old compilers. TRNSYS is compiled
with a pretty modern compiler so I don't anticipate that there will be
problems running it on a 64-bit machine. Eventually, we will make the jump
to reworking TRNSYS into a native 64-bit application but we don't have any
plans to do so in the very near term.
