[TRNSYS-users] Maximum and minimum

Bezeid,
  Type55 can be used to find the maximum and minimum value of an input 
over whatever time period that you want. However, it watches the input 
as the simulation progresses so can only tell you what the maximum and 
minimum values found up to the current simulation time. If sounds from 
what you describe as though you want to preprocess the weather file and 
find out what the maximum and minimum temperatures are before you run 
the simulation? I suppose that you could run the simulation for two 
years, find the min and max the first year and then set them in your 
control strategy at the end of that year, effectively using them in the 
second simulation year. It may be easier, however, to open your weather 
file in Excel beforehand and manually find out what the min and max 
temperatures are.
