Thanks for your quick reply.

I am using trnsys version 16.01.0003 and version (of what i don t know) 4.0.0.0

Thanks to you, i see that this version on the other computer is 4.2.0.30

Also another hint to find the solution.

On the new computer with problems, the TPF files are “Trnsys IISiBat Project File”

On the old one: “TRNSYS studio project file”

So still looking for a solution.

Thanks again

miguel

Dear Miguel,

Please make sure you are using TRNSYS version 16.01.0003 (from the Simulation Studio, click on the "?" menu, then click "About") . If not, you need to get the instructions from your TRNSYS distributor to receive the update.

Best,

Matt

Dear users,

I just installed TRNSYS 16 on my new computer and did copy projects I had on my former computer.

I cannot open any tpf file with the simulation studio on my new computer,
The error mentioned is:

The project was created in a newer version of IISIBAT and could not be opened with yours.

I don t know how to handle this problem.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Miguel VAN DAMME
