Henk,

If you don't want to use Type 109's "user format" mode, I think the quickest
solution is to use Type 9 to read the data and Type 16 to process the
radiation. It's not as convenient as using one component but once you have
figured out the "average-instantaneous" and "interpolate or not" parameters
in Type 9 and the "shift" parameter in Type 16 it's not that bad.

Otherwise, you could use the "Weather converter" tool that comes with
EnergyPlus to read your file and generate an EPW file that you can then use
in TRNSYS with Type 15. You will have to create a DEF file that describes
your format and in my experience it is not a very pleasant job - which is
why I would use Type 9 + Type 16.

I am not aware of specific stability problems related to the user format
mode in Type 109, but I would recommend using Type 15, the "new" weather
data reader as of TRNSYS 16.1 - especially if you are not using the user
format mode.

Hi all,
 
I've a question concerning the conversion of weather data from a user
specified format to a standard tm2 format. 

In the past we had some troubles by using user format (type 109, mode 1)
(stability problems) and therefore we want to use the weatherdata as a tm2
format (type 109, mode 2). 
Does anyone have some experience or knows a conversion program for
converting data like in the attached file to tm2 format? (The colums are
explained (in Dutch) in the other attached file)
