John,
I had been under the impression that we would need to make a big
migration from a 32bit dll to a 64bit dll including making all of the
executables (TRNBuild, Studio, TRNExe) and all of the dlls (gentrn,
TRNDLL, etc.) into 64bit versions. I had also thought that we would need
to get compilers capable of creating those 64bit executables and dlls as
well. It sounds from your experience and from some of the distributors
that parts of TRNSYS will run on 64 bit machines. I must admit that I am
pretty ignorant about such things - its on the agenda for the next
TRNSYS conference call and we should have a better picture of what all
we need to do shortly.
Kind regards,
David
