Dear Marshall,

Please realize that you set your angles in your Type15 weather reader and
radiation processor, and that in TRNBuild you simply name orientations for
these walls. Thus, in Type15, you would define both of the surfaces with
the same 45 degree angle, but the surfaces would have different azimuths
(0 degrees for south(facing the equator), and 180 or -180 for north(facing
away from the equator). I hope this helps.

I am trying to model a simple one story home with a ventilated attic and a
sloped
roof (very similar to the example in manual 6).  I have made two walls for
the
exterior roof with different orientations, nslope and sslope.  When I run the
simulation the zone temperatures for the downstairs seems to work but the
temperature for my attic is the same as the outside ambient air
temperature.  How do
I set up the two roof walls for the attic so that they are angled?

Suppose the two angled walls make a 90 degree angle with each other and a
45 degree
angle with the ceiling.  Would the slopes and azimuths differ since they
are angled
in opposite directions?
