Hi Henry,

To use Excel with Simulation Studio, simply choose a file name ending with .xls in the "External files" tab of a printer component (type25). Then you can just click on the "Edit" button next to the file name to open Excel with the result file.

Files are located in the same directory as the simulation project if you do not specify an absolute path.

Werner

Objet : [TRNSYS-users] How to view the simulation result in excel format inTRNSYS

Hi to all TRNSYS users,

May i know how to view the results of a simulation in an excel file?

I understand that by clicking on the tick box in the output file of the component allow TRNSYS to place the result in an excel file. However, i have problem locating the file. May i know where is the file located in TRNSYS?

Regards.
