Calling a batch file that runs the Trnsys input file should be possible.

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Coupling MATLAB with TRNSYS

Dear TRNSYS users,

I know that it is possible to call MATLAB from TRNSYS, Using
TYPE 155, but does anyone know if it is possible to call TRNSYS from MATLAB.
What I'm trying to do is using MATLAB optimization tools to solve a
multi-objective optimization problem. I'm trying to ask MATLAB to read
TRNSYS output file, modify it to create a new input file and initiate
TRNSYS. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Ali
