Matthias,
  So essentially you would like to be able to dynamically change the 
wall during a simulation as you can with the heating set point or 
internal gains? We have thought about ways to accomplish that and what 
is typically done is to write a model of the dynamic building component 
(a phase change material wall for example) and connect it to the 
building by calculating surface temperatures of BOUNDARY walls defined 
in TRNBuild/Type56.
