Ludivine,
I'd recommend that you define an equation in your input file that has a
value of 1 if the hour of the year (built-in variable "TIME") is less
than (for example) 2500 or greater than 4500 and zero otherwise. You can
use the BOOLEAN functions GT() and LT() to accomplish this. The result
of the equation should be multiplied by the control signal of your Type2
before being sent to the heat pumps. You could also use Type515 (Heating
and Cooling Season Scheduler) if you have access to the TESS
Applications library.
