use 'MOD' to count the calculation time in days,

use GT / LT to set the daylight saving time on/off

NumberOf Day = MOD(CalculationTime,24)

Winter = OR (LT (NumberOf Day, xx), GT( NumberOf Day, xx))

then use 'winter' for shifting your schedules

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Definition of the Time

Dear Trnsys users

I am looking for the definition of the time used in the Meteo files and its
relation with the solar time
I supposed it is the Local Standard Time = Apparent Solar Time - Equation of
Time - (Local Standard Time Meridian° - Local Longitude°)/15 with the
longitude increasing to West.

It seems, after some tests, that the Trnsys do not take in consideration the
daylight saving time (quite no difference in time for solar azimuth at south
between summer and winter)
How can we consider it easily in Trnsys (for instance: move automatically
the schedules one hour earlier from april to September) ?

Thank you for your help
